On Sunday I went to the beach with my dad and brother. We all went boogie boarding, and it was super fun. The waves were colossal and they almost grew larger by the minute. As I dived into the water the waves instantly swallowed me and spat me out the other end. After our beautiful swim, we head up to the car to fetch our towels. When we had dried off the beach was our playground! We threw the soccer ball and ran around. My weekend was super fun and I hope the next one is even cooler!
Today year 7’s and 8’s went to tech at the Kaitiaia intermedeit school. I was there too and I’m in ICT*. It is pretty cool because we use robots and education for my life ahead. My teacher is very cool and patient. This time we all worked on our Marea and sounds. Which includes clean music and frequencies of sound vibrations. The Marea we are working on is in sculpt GL(a scalping game.) I love tech and I can’t wait what other tech I’m in next term.

One day a cow ate a radioactive formula that made him turn green. The cow was named Jav but everyone called him Cow. Jav loved running, in fact, she loved running so much that she would win all the races she entered. Jav was very nice and had a friend named Hav. Hav was a very good swimmer and won the world championship for swimming. But he has retired and died. Ethier one of the friends never left each other’s side. Even when Hav had sadly passed away. I hope this story has poisoned your souls of friendship. But don’t worry Jav is still running and proudly representing Hav.
Today at school I finished my “Stranded” story. I am very proud of my story and very excited for you to read it. It’s packed full of action, drama, and suspense. There are twists and turns. But most of all the knowledge of what maybe not to do if you were stranded on an island. But anywho this story is going to have over 1,000 words and it is coming in 7 days! So buckle your seat belts and get ready for a scary but wonderful ride! See you in 7 days!
Today at school we had to pick a bird to research and I chose the Kingfisher. I chose this fascinating creature because it has a rather different call. This bird doesn’t sing but simply shrills, the shrilling sounds as if you struck two stones together as hard as you could. This bird is very cool and it comes in incredibly massive numbers. Fun fact! The Kingfisher has over 116 brothers and sisters! Another fun fact. There are over 116 species of Kingfisher. That’s enough to fill Edan Park 10,036 times! I really hope this has inspired you to do more research on our big blue or green backyard.
Today in class we learned about the 21-day challenge. Our class is in the 21 day as well. Well if you are wondering, the 21-day challenge is a challenge where you have to pick up rubbish and plastic that doesn’t belong in that place. The whole purpose of this challenge is to teach us that the rubbish in our everyday products should constantly reach the bin all the time. Therefore the odd piece of rubbish could make its way into our sea. That is why it is really important to make it into the bin every time and don’t forget to take 3 for the sea!
On the weekend our cousins came up from Whangarei. When they got here we played outside and then went to bed. The next morning we went fishing, my dad and my brother, and all of our cousins and uncles went out fishing, on the majestic water. It was so beautiful, almost like shattered glass. We had a lot of luck out at sea. We caught 4 snappers and I got one. After our rainbows end on the water we decided it was time to hop on the sea biscuit. Me and Dali went on first to show how it was done. Me and Dali were on the edge of our seats. Or on the edge of our biscuits! We were jumping and joking so joyfully. Finally, our minutes of excitement all led up to this moment, “yeah”! “This is super fun!” but unfortunately it was time to hand the biscuit over to our cousins.*
*”They loved it!”
Today at 10:30am, I had road patrol practice with 22 other kids. We were all super excited about this practice, but first, we had to venture a full 7 and 1/4 meters to the staff room, so we could learn more about patrol. A police lady was waiting to have a quick talk until we raced out to practice. Her name was Amanda, and she talked about what road patrol is and what to do if there’s an emergency. After a quick and fun time learning more about road patrol. As I am a professional in road patrol, I went as soon as possible to show the beginners. After everyone darted threw their practice it was time to go. It was morning tea, so headed back to class and tidied up for morning tea.
